The owl will fly away and deliver your block to the Emporium in Diagon Alley. When you find a brick in a stage, pick it up and carry it over to the nearby owl perch. Many bricks can't be acquired until you gain special abilities, such as Reducto magic. If you see one, that's a good clue that somewhere in the nearby vicinity, you can find a Red Brick. In general, you should look for owl perches along the edge of a given area. There are 20 of them to find, along with 4 others that are available right from the start of the game. Many of the most worthwhile surprises in the game can't be accessed until you learn the 'Reducto' spell (very late in the game), so you'll need to cover and re-cover a lot of ground if you're anxious to see every sight that is available.Īs you work through the Hogwarts Castle level hub, you'll occasionally come across Red Brick items.
