![]() I don't believe your "level" has any effect on what portions of the game you can complete. If that doesn't work, try capturing a safehouse and/or killing a boss on the island. I'd suggest going to each island manually (drive/swim) to trigger the intro cinematic for it, and see if that unlocks it. I certainly had access to all three islands pretty early. I'm not sure what causes the doors to unlock. Quote:Originally posted by Blue Adept:The reason why I thought that I couldn't go on to the next island was that I went back to the police depo in the center, and it wouldn't allow me to drive out. Hidden orbs are a bit trickier, but there's a very good guide: here's the agility orb map I used: of these are accurate:- View image here: - I just used them myself - View image here:. Agility orbs are easy enough to find with a map to refer to since they're always on top of something and all. There are two free packs, one just adds some extra Agent portraits, one adds a lot to the game including a helpful audio cue for collecting orbs the more orbs you collect the louder the audio cue is surrounding remaining orbs. At level 4, I can do some driving races on foot. The only hard stat to level up is driving, mostly because running gang members over nets you the most points, running over civilians who tend to be mixed in with gang members loses you points and gets the Peacekeepers mad at you.If you haven't gotten the free Crackdown DLC, you should do so. All combined you are looking at more than enough points, especially with the ones you will get through combat. You don't have to do agility races, but once you get to level 2-3 agility all the Los Muertos ones are easy money. There are 500 agility orbs and 300 Hidden Orbs (the blue ones) which give a small bonus to all stats. ![]() (not that that stops you from doing the other islands anyway, although it'll make it easier to get there) The game does initially lock the other doors from the tower to encourage you to start Los Muertes, IIRC, but if you've cleared out Los Muertes you shouldn't be restricted anymore. I did most of the asian gang bosses before doing more than one or two of the russian ones. I actually beat the game in the "wrong" order. I was a little outgunned and couldn't climb everything but I got some nifty weapons for my troubles. Pretty much the first thing I did when I started the game was head over towards the asian gang location just to check it out. The game is waiting or you are? You don't have to do anything in any particular order. But I think the game is waiting until I have powered up more. I like the boss takedowns, and in theory I would continue on to take on the other gangs. As with the agility races, I largely skipped the driving races.quote:So, I cleared out the Los Muertes gang island. Vehicles are entirely unnecessary.EDIT- Oh, and as mentioned, running over people gets you skill. If you're only in Los Muertes territory, you've only seen a fraction of the orbs after all.quote:Next, levelling up by driving races? Okay, but I don't really like race driving. There's an awful lot of of those Agility and Secret orbs out there, plus small-ish bonuses from extreme altitude sniping. Pretty sure I maxed out my Agility with very little agility racing. ![]() ![]() That's fun once or twice, but as a game mechanic I'm not a big fan.
